Interior design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a space to create a functional, aesthetically pleasing environment. It involves the manipulation of spatial volume, color, texture, lighting, furniture, and accessories to meet the needs and preferences of the occupants while also adhering to practical considerations such as safety, functionality, and sustainability.

Kencid’s Diploma in Interior Design program extends over a period of three academic years. However, as we follow a trimester system, this equates to a condensed two-year calendar schedule. Within each calendar year, students undergo three semesters, ensuring a structured and immersive learning journey throughout their enrollment with us.

Applicants must hold a KCSE qualification of C- or its accredited and recognized equivalent to be eligible for enrollment in the Diploma in Interior Design program.
