Mould-making and model-making portfolio ideas

Illustrative scene of learners exploring Mould Making, Model Making & Composite Fabrication in a bright studio

A model-making case study should show why a form was explored and what each sample helped you learn. Start with the brief, sketches and scale studies. Add a mould plan or process map if it is part of the supervised project, then show the sample and the questions it answered.

Include material records, photographs, critique and revisions. State which processes were carried out under supervision and which steps were not attempted. Do not describe an exploratory mould or composite sample as production-ready or certified. A portfolio is stronger when it explains limits clearly.
